Business Hub (Verified Business)
The Wildfire CityPages Business Hub is a dedicated space for verified local businesses to share information with the community. It keeps promotional content separate from the main discussion board, so neighbor-to-neighbor conversations stay clean and focused while businesses still have an effective way to reach local customers.
What is a Verified Business?
A Verified Business is a local company confirmed by Wildfire CityPages staff. Verification typically involves providing business license information, proof of physical location in one of our covered communities, and contact details. Once approved, the business receives its own profile page and access to post in the Business Hub.
What can Verified Businesses post?
- 🏷 Daily or weekly specials and promotions
- 📢 Press releases and company announcements
- 💼 Job openings and help-wanted postings
- 📝 Articles, blog-style updates, or educational content
- 📅 Event details such as grand openings, sales, and workshops
- 🔔 Menu changes, new products, or service updates
These posts appear in the Business Hub section and can be viewed by all visitors, logged in or not.
Business participation in Discussions
Verified business owners are also full community members. They can participate in the regular discussion board just like any resident, answering questions, offering advice, or joining conversations naturally. Direct advertising or self-promotion is not allowed in the discussion area. This keeps discussions authentic while letting businesses be helpful neighbors.

Why keep Business Hub separate?
Mixing heavy promotional posts with community discussions leads to noise and distrust. By giving businesses their own clear space, everyone wins:
- 👥 Residents get a clean discussion area for real neighbor talk.
- 🏢 Businesses get reliable visibility for specials, news, and updates.
- ✓ The whole platform stays trustworthy and valuable for the community.
Tip: Control what you see
On the discussion page, look for the "Include Business Hub Posts in Discussion List" checkbox. If you'd prefer not to see promotions mixed in, simply uncheck it.
Thank you for supporting local. Whether you're a resident sharing recommendations or a business keeping customers informed, we are glad you are here.
